They're 14.2mm, so they sit close to the size of your own iris and the effect looks sharp rather than cartoonish. The 42% water content makes them feel soft, which helps when you're in costume for hours. On brown eyes the green comes through clearly, and in photos the slit is what people zoom in on.

How we'd wear them

• Winged liner pulled out towards the temple makes the cat shape even stronger.
• The pupil area is clear, so you can see normally through them.
• Put them in before your makeup, with clean dry hands.
