Brown contact lenses that look like your own eyes

Brown gets overlooked a bit, which is a shame, because it's one of the nicest colours to wear day to day. Most people who buy our brown contact lenses aren't after a big costume change. They want warmer, richer eyes that nobody at work questions. A few of us here wear them on days when we fancy something cosy, with a camel coat and a bit of bronze on the lids.

We've got loads of shades in this collection, from pale honey right through to deep chocolate, so it's worth having a proper look before you pick.

Brown contacts for blue and green eyes

If you've got light eyes and want them to go properly brown, you need a lens with plenty of pigment. Chocolate Brown Contact Lenses are a warm, solid brown that turns blue eyes brown, and Gentle Brown Contact Lenses do the same job with no limbal ring, so the edge looks soft rather than drawn on. Woodland Brown gives good natural coverage too.

On blue eyes, a brown lens can show a tiny bit of your own colour at the very centre around the pupil. In real life, at normal talking distance, it just looks like depth.

Light brown, honey and hazel shades

This is where it gets fun. Golden Honey Contact Lenses and Hydrocor Mel Contact Lenses are soft honey browns that glow a bit in sunlight. Caramel is a gentle, natural caramel brown, and Amber Contact Lenses are a warm amber that's really popular with people who have tanned or medium skin. Brown contact lenses for dark eyes

Already got brown eyes? You can still wear brown lenses. They just shift the shade rather than change it completely. Profound Brown, Meteor Brown, Mystic Brown, Iris Brown and Norway Brown are all made to show on dark eyes, giving you a warmer, lighter brown that catches the light. Natural Brown, Tulip Brown, Blossom Brown, Daisy Brown and Wild Brown are subtle, so on very dark eyes they'll add a bit of definition more than a new colour.

Sizes, comfort and the anime ones

Most of our brown contacts are 14.0mm to 14.2mm, so they look natural rather than doll-like. Chocolate Brown, Woodland Brown and Amber are 14.5mm, which gives a slightly bigger, bolder iris that's lovely in photos. Several pairs have 42% water content for a softer, more moist feel, and the 38 to 40% ones are standard and comfy.

Do brown contact lenses work on blue eyes?
Yes, as long as you pick an opaque brown with plenty of pigment. Chocolate Brown and Gentle Brown are both made to turn blue eyes brown. You might see a tiny hint of your own colour right by the pupil, but at normal distance it just looks like natural depth.
Can you wear brown contacts if you already have brown eyes?
