Vampire Knight contact lenses for Cross Academy

Vampire Knight was a lot of people's first proper vampire anime, us included. The Day Class and Night Class uniforms, the roses, all that drama between Yuki, Zero and Kaname. It's still a favourite for cosplay, and the eyes are a big part of getting it right, because so much of the story is in who's human and who isn't.

Yuki Cross Vampire Knight Contact Lenses

Yuki Cross Vampire Knight Contact Lenses are the star of this page. They're a warm red brown, the colour Yuki's eyes take on once her vampire side comes out. It's not a horror film red. It's richer and softer than that, which is exactly why it looks right for her.

They're 14.5mm, so they make the eye look a touch bigger and more anime without going full doll. The 42% water content means they feel nice and soft, which helps on a long con day. In daylight the red really shows. Indoors and under warm lights they lean more towards a deep reddish brown, which actually suits the moody Night Class look.

Kaname and Zero

A lot of people ask us what to wear for the other two. Kaname Kuran has dark wine red eyes, and honestly the Yuki Cross lenses are a great match for him too. Same family, same pureblood vibe. That makes them handy for a Yuki and Kaname couple cosplay, as you can both get the same lens (a pair each, of course).

Zero Kiryu is trickier, because his eyes are a pale lilac grey most of the time and flash red when his vampire side takes over. We don't have a named Zero lens, so we'd look at our violet and red pages and pick whichever version of Zero you're going for.

Our cosplay tips

Practise putting your lenses in at home a few days before the con. It's much less stressful than trying for the first time in a hotel bathroom. Pack your case, a bottle of solution and a little mirror in your bag.

For Yuki, keep makeup soft. A bit of brown liner, light mascara and a rosy cheek. For Kaname, a little contour and a slightly darker brow does wonders. And if you want blood for a vampire scene, a dab of fake blood at the corner of the mouth is plenty.

Care, price and delivery

Our Vampire Knight lenses are non prescription, CE certified and 1 year wear when you look after them. Wash your hands, rub and rinse in fresh solution and store them in a clean case. Never sleep in them, and never share them, even with your Night Class buddies.

Every pair is £12.99, and any 2 pairs are £22.99, so you can mix Yuki with another colour for Zero. Order before 2pm on a working day and it goes out the same day with next day delivery.

Vampire Knight Contact Lenses FAQs

What colour are Yuki Cross's eyes?
Yuki starts the series with warm reddish brown eyes, and once she awakens as a pureblood vampire they look deeper and redder. Our Yuki Cross Vampire Knight Contact Lenses are a red brown that sits nicely between the two.
Do you sell Vampire Knight contact lenses?
Yes, we have Yuki Cross Vampire Knight Contact Lenses. They also work well for Kaname Kuran, because his eyes are a similar dark wine red. For Zero, you'd pick from our violet or red ranges depending on which version you're cosplaying.
What lenses should I wear for Kaname Kuran?
We'd go for the Yuki Cross lenses. Kaname's eyes are a deep wine red brown, and Yuki's lenses are very close. If you and a friend are doing Yuki and Kaname, you can both wear the same pair style, just not the same pair.
What colour are Zero Kiryu's eyes?
Zero usually has pale lilac grey eyes, and they turn red when his vampire thirst kicks in. For his everyday look, have a look at our violet lenses. For vampire mode, go for a bright red.
Will the Yuki Cross lenses show up on dark eyes?
They will show, but the effect is softer on very dark brown eyes. In daylight the red comes through, and indoors it looks more like a deep reddish brown. That moodier look actually fits Vampire Knight really well.
Are anime contact lenses safe?
Ours are CE certified and safe when you look after them properly. Wash and dry your hands, use fresh solution each time, keep them in a clean case and never sleep in them. Take them out if your eyes sting. If you have eye problems, chat to an optician first.
Can I see normally in Yuki Cross contacts?
Yes. They have a clear pupil area, so your vision isn't blocked. They have no power, so they won't correct your sight. In dim light you might notice a faint tint at the edges, which is normal with coloured lenses.
How long can I wear them at a convention?
Around 8 hours is a good limit. Cons get warm and dry, so take breaks if your eyes feel tired and keep your case and solution in your bag. Take them out before you sleep.
How long do Vampire Knight contact lenses last?
They're 1 year wear, so one pair will cover a whole year of cons and photoshoots. Clean them after every wear and store them in fresh solution. If a lens gets damaged, replace it.
How much are Vampire Knight cosplay contacts?
Each pair is £12.99. Any 2 pairs are £22.99, which is handy for a Yuki and Zero duo. Order before 2pm on a working day and we post it the same day for next day delivery.
