Zelda contact lenses for your Hyrule cosplay

Some of us have lost far too many hours to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, so a Zelda page was always going to happen. Legend of Zelda cosplay is everywhere at UK cons now, and the eyes are one of those small details that make a costume look properly finished, especially in close up photos.

Purah Zelda Contact Lenses

Purah Zelda Contact Lenses are made for everyone's favourite Sheikah researcher. Purah has the red eyes of the Sheikah, and these lenses give you that bright, slightly mischievous look that suits her perfectly. Young Purah from Breath of the Wild and grown up Director Purah from Tears of the Kingdom have the same eyes, so one pair covers both.

They're 14.5mm, so they make the iris look a little bigger and more game like, without going over the top. In daylight they're bright and clear. Indoors they go a bit deeper, which still looks great on camera. Have a look at the product photos to see how they sit on different eye colours.

Because Impa and Paya are Sheikah too, the Purah lenses are a handy pick for those costumes, or for a full Sheikah group.

What about Link, Zelda and Ganondorf?

We don't have named lenses for every character yet, so here's what we'd choose from our other colours. Link has blue eyes, so a clear, bright blue like Sky Blue Contact Lenses or Ocean Blue Contact Lenses works nicely. Princess Zelda's eyes are green in the recent games, and Emerald Green Contact Lenses or Gemstone Green Contact Lenses look lovely for her. For Ganondorf's golden stare, we'd go for Creepy Yellow Contact Lenses, or Yellow Cat Eye if you're doing a beastly Calamity version.

Our tips for con day

Practise putting your lenses in a few days before, not in the queue for the con. Bring your case, a small bottle of solution and a mirror. Big conventions get warm and dry, so give your eyes a break if they feel tired.

For Purah, keep the makeup soft and a bit cheeky. A touch of brown liner and some pink on the cheeks is plenty. Let the glasses, the hair and the lenses do the talking.

Care, price and delivery

Our Zelda contact lenses are non prescription and 1 year wear when cleaned and stored properly. Wash your hands, rub and rinse them in fresh solution and keep them in a clean case. Never sleep in them and never share them, even with your Link.

Every pair is £12.99, and any 2 pairs are £22.99, so you can sort Purah plus a blue pair for your Link in one go. Order before 2pm on a working day and it goes out the same day with next day delivery.

Zelda Contact Lenses FAQs

Do you sell Zelda contact lenses?
Yes, we have Purah Zelda Contact Lenses for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom cosplay. For other characters like Link, Zelda and Ganondorf, our blue, green and yellow lenses are a good match.
What colour are Purah's eyes?
Purah has red eyes, like the rest of the Sheikah. Our Purah Zelda Contact Lenses are designed to match her look in both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
What contact lenses should I wear for Link?
Link has blue eyes, so we'd go for Sky Blue for a light, clear blue or Ocean Blue for a softer everyday blue. Both show up well in photos with the green tunic or the Champion's tunic.
What colour are Princess Zelda's eyes?
In Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda has green eyes. Emerald Green and Gemstone Green both give a pretty, natural looking green that suits her.
Which lenses work for Ganondorf cosplay?
Ganondorf has a golden yellow stare. Creepy Yellow gives you a bright, intense yellow, and Yellow Cat Eye adds a slit pupil if you want something more monstrous.
Can I use the Purah lenses for Impa or Paya?
Yes, they work well for other Sheikah characters too, as they share the red eye look. Each person needs their own pair though, so don't share lenses within your group.
Are Zelda cosplay contact lenses safe?
They're safe when you look after them properly. Wash and dry your hands, use fresh solution every time, keep them in a clean case and never sleep in them. Take them out if they sting. If you have any eye problems, check with an optician first.
Can I see properly in the Purah contacts?
Yes. They have a clear pupil area, so your vision isn't blocked. They're plano, so they won't correct or change your eyesight. In dim light you might notice a slight tint round the edges.
How long do Zelda contact lenses last?
They're 1 year wear, so one pair will see you through a whole year of cons and shoots. Clean them after every wear and store them in fresh solution. Replace them if a lens tears or feels scratchy.
How much are the lenses and how quick is delivery?
Each pair is £12.99, or any 2 pairs for £22.99 or 3 for £31.99. Order before 2pm on a working day and they go out the same day with next day delivery. There's also a paid Saturday delivery option.
