Twilight contact lenses for Bella and the Cullens

We'll admit it, a few of us were very much Team Edward the first time round. So when Twilight came back into everyone's feeds, we had to have proper Twilight contact lenses. The eyes are such a big part of the look. Gold means a Cullen who only drinks animal blood, red means a newborn or the Volturi, and black means they're thirsty.

We've got two pairs here, and between them they cover most Twilight costumes.

Twilight Bella Contact Lenses, the golden Cullen eyes

Twilight Bella Contact Lenses are a warm golden yellow with a fine black line round the edge. That outer line is what makes them look like the films rather than just yellow lenses. They give you that soft amber stare the whole Cullen family has, so they work for Edward, Alice, Rosalie, Jasper, Emmett and Carlisle as well as Bella after she's turned.

They're 14.5mm, which makes the iris a touch bigger without looking cartoonish. In daylight they read as a bright gold, and indoors they go more honey and amber.

Twilight Bella Red Contact Lenses for newborns and the Volturi

Twilight Bella Red Contact Lenses are the red eyes Bella has straight after she wakes up in Breaking Dawn. They're a strong red, so they're brilliant for any newborn vampire look and for Volturi costumes too. Aro, Jane, Alec, Caius, take your pick. Pair them with a dark cloak and very pale foundation and you're sorted.

How we'd style a Twilight look

Vampire skin in Twilight is pale and almost glowing, so go a shade or two lighter on foundation and add a bit of highlighter on the cheekbones. Keep the eyeliner thin and brown for the Cullens, and go darker and smokier for the Volturi. A tiny bit of red or plum under the eye makes the red lenses look even more intense.

For a couples costume, one of you in gold and one in red always gets a reaction. It's a nice nod to Bella before and after, and with any 2 pairs for £22.99 or 3 for £31.99 it doesn't cost much.

Safe to wear for Halloween and parties

Both pairs are non prescription and CE certified, and they're 1 year wear, so you can get loads of Halloweens and film nights out of them. Wash your hands first, rub and rinse in fresh solution and keep them in a clean case. Don't share them with your coven, and never sleep in them.

Each pair is £12.99. Order before 2pm on a working day and they go out the same day with next day delivery, which is handy when the party is suddenly this Saturday.

If you want more red or black vampire options beyond Twilight, have a look at our vampire contact lenses too.

Twilight Contact Lenses FAQs

What colour contacts do I need for a Twilight costume?
It depends on the character. The Cullens have golden eyes because they drink animal blood, so Twilight Bella Contact Lenses are the ones you want. Newborn vampires and the Volturi have red eyes, which is where Twilight Bella Red Contact Lenses come in.
Why do the Cullens have gold eyes?
In Twilight, vampires who only feed on animals have golden or topaz eyes. Vampires who drink human blood have red eyes. When any of them gets very thirsty, their eyes go dark, almost black. That's why the Cullens look gold and the Volturi look red.
Which lenses are best for Edward Cullen?
Twilight Bella Contact Lenses work brilliantly for Edward. They're the same golden Cullen colour with a black outer line. They're unisex, so anyone can wear them, and they suit any of the Cullen family.
What contacts do I need for a Volturi costume?
Go red. Twilight Bella Red Contact Lenses give you that strong red vampire stare that Aro, Jane and the rest of the Volturi have. Add a long dark cloak and pale makeup and you're done.
Do Twilight contact lenses work on brown eyes?
Yes. Both of our Twilight lenses are bold colours with a defined outer ring, so they show up on brown eyes. On very dark eyes the gold may look a little more amber indoors, which actually looks quite film accurate.
Can I see properly in Twilight contact lenses?
Yes. Both pairs have a clear pupil area, so your vision stays normal. In dim light you might notice a slight tint round the edges when your pupils get bigger. They have no power, so they won't change how well you see.
Are Twilight contact lenses safe?
They're CE certified and safe to wear when you look after them. Wash your hands, use fresh solution every time, keep them in a clean case and never sleep in them. Take them out if they sting. If you have eye problems, have a quick chat with an optician first.
How long do Twilight contact lenses last?
They're 1 year wear when you clean and store them properly. So one pair can do Halloween, a Twilight marathon night and a few parties in between. If a lens gets damaged, replace it.
Can I wear them for a Twilight themed party?
Absolutely, they're made for it. We'd keep wear to around 8 hours, take your case and solution with you, and take them out before you head to bed. Never fall asleep in them, however late the party goes.
How much are Twilight contact lenses?
Each pair is £12.99. If you want both the gold and the red, or one each for you and a friend, any 2 pairs are £22.99. Order before 2pm on a working day for same day dispatch and next day delivery.
