From the Lensmate team

We've got a few Genshin fans on the team, so these were always going to happen. Teyvat has some brilliant eye designs, and a lot of them just don't exist in the real world without a bit of help. These lenses are made for cosplay, cons and photoshoots, and they're all non prescription and CE certified.

Genshin Impact cosplay contacts by character

Hu Tao Genshin Impact Contact Lenses are probably the most recognisable. Hu Tao's eyes have that plum blossom shape in the pupil, and our lens has a red iris with a plum blossom petal design, so they read as her straight away in photos. They look great with the brown twin tails and the hat.

For Liyue's Yuheng, Keqing Genshin Impact Contact Lenses go from pink to a deep purple, which suits her colours really well. Yae Miko Genshin Impact Contact Lenses are a light purple with a darker ring, and they cover dark eyes nicely, which is handy if your natural eyes are brown.

We also have Baizhu (a warm orange gold for the Bubu Pharmacy doctor), Bennett in green and Barbara in a soft blue for the Mondstadt crew.

Picking the right Genshin contact lenses for your eyes

Most of our Genshin lenses are 14.5mm, so they give a slightly bigger, bolder iris. That's what you want for an anime or game look, because it gets closer to the big eyes in the character art without going full doll. Higher water content pairs, like Hu Tao and Yae Miko at 42%, feel a little softer and more moist, which helps on a long con day.

If you have very dark brown eyes, brighter and lighter colours can look a touch softer than in the product photos, especially indoors. A bit of dark liner along the lash line helps the colour stand out and makes the whole look feel more finished.

Our convention day tips

  • Put your lenses in before your wig and make up, with clean dry hands. Wig glue and powder on your fingers is not what you want in your eye.
  • Pack your case, a small bottle of solution and a mirror. Con halls get dry and dusty and it's nice to have the option to take them out.
  • Give your eyes a break between photo sessions and blink a lot. Con lighting and screens make you stare more than you think.
  • Do a practice run at home a week before. You'll get quicker at putting them in and you'll know they feel comfy.

Mix and match for group cosplays

Any 2 pairs are £22.99, so it's an easy way to sort a duo or group. Hu Tao and Baizhu for a Liyue pair, or Barbara and Bennett for Mondstadt. You can also grab one pair for a character and another for your next cosplay. Orders before 2pm on a working day go out the same day with Royal Mail next day delivery.

All our lenses last up to 12 months with proper care. Rub and rinse them in fresh solution, keep them in a clean case, never sleep in them and never share them with your cosplay mates, however much they beg.

Genshin Impact Contact Lenses FAQs

What colour are Hu Tao's eyes?
Hu Tao has red eyes with a plum blossom shape in the pupils, which is one of the most recognisable eye designs in Genshin Impact. Our Hu Tao Genshin Impact Contact Lenses have a red iris with a plum blossom petal design, so they pick up that detail really nicely in photos. They're 14.5mm and 42% water content.
What colour are Keqing's eyes in Genshin?
Keqing has purple eyes that match her purple hair and Electro theme. Our Keqing Genshin Impact Contact Lenses go from a pink tone into a darker purple, so they give that same look and work well under con lighting. If you've got dark brown eyes they'll look a bit deeper, which still suits her.
What colour are Yae Miko's eyes?
Yae Miko has violet eyes, a soft purple that goes with her pink hair. Our Yae Miko Genshin Impact Contact Lenses are a light purple with a darker outer ring. They cover dark eyes well, so you'll get that lilac look even if your own eyes are brown. A pink and red eye make up look really sets them off.
Are Genshin Impact contact lenses safe for cosplay?
Ours are non prescription and CE certified, and they're safe to wear as long as you look after them properly. Wash your hands first, use fresh solution every time, never tap water, never sleep in them and never share them. If a lens stings or feels wrong, take it out. If you've had eye problems before, chat to an optician first.
Can you see properly in cosplay contacts?
Yes, all of our Genshin lenses have a clear pupil, so you see normally through the middle. When it's dark and your pupils get bigger, you might notice a slight tint at the edges, which is normal with coloured contacts. They're non prescription though, so if you need glasses to see, they won't fix that.
How long can I wear Genshin contacts at a convention?
We'd aim for around 6 to 8 hours and take them out sooner if your eyes feel dry. Big con halls are warm and dry, so blink a lot and bring your case and solution. A lot of people wear them for photos and the main part of the day, then switch to glasses or nothing for the trip home.
Do Genshin contact lenses work on brown eyes?
Yes, they're opaque coloured lenses so they sit over your natural colour. On very dark eyes, pale and bright colours can look a touch softer in real life than in pictures, especially indoors. Yae Miko covers dark eyes nicely. In daylight and with a flash, the colour comes through best.
How long do your Genshin Impact contact lenses last?
Up to 12 months once opened, as long as you clean and store them properly. That means rubbing and rinsing them in fresh solution after each wear and keeping them in a clean case with fresh solution. So one pair will do you for a whole year of cons, meetups and photoshoots.
What size are Genshin cosplay contacts?
Most of our Genshin Impact contact lenses are 14.5mm, which gives a slightly bigger, bolder iris than a natural lens. That's great for game and anime characters because it gets you closer to the art style. They're not huge circle lenses though, so they still look like eyes rather than something cartoonish.
Can I get Genshin contacts delivered in time for a con?
Usually yes. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day go out the same day with Royal Mail next day delivery, and there's a paid Saturday option. We'd still order a week or so early if you can, so you've got time for a practice run at home before the big day.
