Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses for your Musicart cosplay

Takt Op. Destiny doesn't get as much love at UK cons as the big shonen series, which is exactly why a good Takt Op cosplay stands out. The Musicarts have such striking designs, and the eyes are a big part of that. Get them right and the whole costume clicks.

Our Titan Takt Op. Destiny Contact Lenses are made for Titan, the Musicart based on Mahler's Symphony No. 1. They mix blue and pink, so they look properly anime rather than like a normal coloured lens. At 14.5mm they're a little bigger than your natural iris, which helps that wide eyed look in photos.

Matching other Takt Op characters

We're a small shop, so we don't have every Musicart yet. If you're doing Destiny, Takt or one of the others, grab your favourite reference screenshots and look through our wider pages. Anime Red Contact Lenses and Hot Pink Contact Lenses are both easy picks for a bright anime eye, and our blue page has loads of clean, bold shades too. Any 2 pairs are £22.99, so a group cosplay doesn't cost a fortune.

Tip from us: screenshots from the anime are often colour graded and look brighter than real life. Pick a lens a shade bolder than you think, because real lenses always look a bit softer on actual eyes.

Why the eyes matter so much

Takt Op is a very colourful show. The Musicarts glow, the fight scenes are full of light, and the character art leans heavily on eye colour. Your natural eyes, especially if they're brown, can look a bit flat next to a bright wig and costume. A coloured lens fixes that straight away and makes your photos look much closer to the anime.

It also helps with the uncanny, not quite human feel the Musicarts have. People notice the eyes before anything else.

How we'd wear them at a con

Put your Takt Op contacts in at home, in good light, before you start your makeup. Bring a case, solution and a mirror in your bag so you can take them out if your eyes get tired. Con halls are dry and warm, so we'd keep it to around 8 hours.

The blue and pink of the Titan lenses really pops with a cool toned base and a little pink on the lower lash line. On dark brown eyes, expect the colours to look slightly deeper indoors and brighter in daylight or under photo lights.

Care and safety

Our Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses are non prescription, CE certified and 1 year wear when you look after them. Wash and dry your hands first, rub and rinse in fresh solution, never use tap water, and don't sleep in them. If anything stings, take them out.

Takt Op. Destiny Contact Lenses FAQs

What colour are Titan's eyes in Takt Op. Destiny?
Titan has a striking anime look with blue and pink in her eyes, and our Titan Takt Op. Destiny Contact Lenses are made to match that mix. Check your favourite reference shots before a shoot, as colours shift a bit between scenes and promo art, but our pair covers the main look really well.
Are Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses safe?
Our Takt Op lenses are CE certified and safe when you treat them like any contact lens. Wash your hands, use fresh solution every time, keep them in a clean case and never sleep in them. Don't share them with friends in your cosplay group. If your eyes feel sore, take them out.
Can you see normally in the Titan contact lenses?
Yes. The Titan lenses have a clear pupil in the middle, so your vision stays normal. In dim light you might notice a slight tint round the edges, which is normal with any coloured lens. They're plano, so they don't correct your eyesight either.
Do Takt Op cosplay contacts work on brown eyes?
They do. Anime lenses like Titan have plenty of pigment, so the colour shows on brown eyes. On very dark eyes, the blue and pink read a little deeper indoors and brighter in daylight or under photo lighting. It still looks very anime, which is what you want.
What is Takt Op. Destiny about?
Takt Op. Destiny is an anime set in a future America where music has been banned because it attracts monsters called D2. Musicarts are girls who carry the power of classical music, and Conductors like Takt fight alongside them. It's loved for its music and its character designs.
How long can I wear Takt Op contact lenses at a convention?
We'd say up to about 8 hours. Con halls are warm and dry, so carry a case, solution and a mirror. If your eyes start to feel dry or scratchy, take the lenses out, rinse them in fresh solution and give your eyes a break.
Do you need a prescription for cosplay contacts?
Not for ours. Our Takt Op contact lenses are plano, which means 0.00 power, so you can buy them in the UK without a prescription. They won't help your eyesight, so if you wear glasses you'll still need them. If you've had eye problems, ask an optician first.
How long do Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses last?
They're 1 year wear. You can reuse the same pair for every con and shoot for a whole year, as long as you clean them after each wear and store them in fresh solution. If a lens tears or starts feeling uncomfortable, replace it.
Will you get more Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses?
We add new character lenses when we find designs we're happy with. For now, Titan is the dedicated Takt Op pair. If you're doing another Musicart, our red, pink and blue pages have lots of bold anime shades you can match to your reference pictures.
How much are Takt Op cosplay contacts?
Our Takt Op. Destiny contact lenses are £12.99 a pair, which is two lenses. Any 2 pairs are £22.99, so you can sort a second character or a friend's lenses at the same time. Order before 2pm on a working day for same day dispatch and next day delivery.
