Blueberry Contact Lenses

Blueberry is a rich, juicy blue, a bit deeper and warmer than a sky blue. The name made us smile when it first came in, but honestly it fits. It's that dark, inky blue you get on a ripe berry.

It's a lovely middle ground if pale icy blues feel like too much. On light eyes it gives a deep, saturated blue. On darker eyes it comes through as a moodier navy blue, more noticeable in daylight than under dim lights. We like it for evenings out with a black outfit and silver jewellery.

They're 14.2mm, so a natural size, and 42% water, which is at the softer, more moist end of our lenses. A good pick if your eyes tend to feel dry by mid afternoon.

• Styling: copper or rose gold shadow brings the blue forward.
• Comfort: 42% water feels a little gentler on the eye.
• Care: rub and rinse in fresh solution, store in a clean case, and take them out before bed.
