Red Manson Contact Lenses

Red Manson lenses are what we put in when a costume needs a bit of menace. The iris is a deep red, and a black ring runs round the outside so the colour looks contained and intense instead of spreading out into a pink blur.

They're 14mm, which is a little smaller than most of our Halloween range. That means they look surprisingly realistic on, like your eyes have actually turned red rather than you wearing a big painted disc. The 38% water content is our standard, comfy level. We think they're the pick for vampires, demons and darker cosplay characters, and they're lovely for Day of the Dead too.

How we'd style them

• A dark red or black lip ties everything together.
• Keep eyeshadow cool toned (greys, blacks) so the red doesn't clash.
• Insert them before makeup and take them out before bed. Never sleep in them.
• If they sting or feel wrong, take them out, rinse and try again later.
