Demon Slayer contact lenses for Hashira and demons
Demon Slayer is one of the biggest group cosplays we see at cons. You'll spot a Tanjiro and Nezuko pair in every queue, a whole row of Hashira on the stairs, and a few brave people doing the Upper Moons. Each character's eyes are so distinctive that getting them right makes a huge difference, especially in photos.
We've built up a proper range of Demon Slayer contact lenses, so you can match most of the main cast. Here's a quick guide to who's who.
Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu
Tanjiro Kamado Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are a dark red that matches his burgundy eyes. On brown eyes they look rich and warm rather than bright, which is just right for him. Nezuko Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are pink with a slit and a black ring, for her demon form. Pair them with the bamboo muzzle and the pink kimono and you're sorted.
Zenitsu Agatsuma Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are a golden hazel shade. They're 14.2mm, so they look natural and sit nicely with his yellow wig.
Hashira contact lenses
Mitsuri Kanroji Demon Slayer Contact Lenses have a bright green inner with a thin black outer ring, and at 14.6mm they give a big, bright anime eye. Muichiro Tokito Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are his pale mint teal colour. Obanai Iguro is a fun one, as his pair comes with one yellow lens and one turquoise lens for his heterochromia, so you don't need to buy two pairs.
Kyōjurō Rengoku Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are red with a yellow outline, like his flame eyes. Be aware this pair has no clear pupil, so it's for photos only. If you're doing Tengen Uzui's group, Makio Brown Lenses are made for his wife Makio, with a light brown centre that gets darker towards the ring.
Upper Moons and Muzan
The demons are the most dramatic. Kibutsuji Muzan Demon Slayer Contact Lenses are red with slit pupils, for the demon king himself. The slit can make things look a little hazier in dim light. The Akaza, Daki and Doma Demon Slayer Sclera Contact Lenses have the Upper Moon designs, and the Douma Demon Slayer Contact Lenses have his rainbow eyes. All four of these block your vision, so they're for posing, not walking about a busy hall.
Our Demon Slayer cosplay tips
- For no pupil designs, wear a clear pupil pair for the day and swap in for the photoshoot.
- Most of the range is 14.5mm, which gives a slightly bigger, bolder iris that reads more anime.
- A thin line of liner along your lashes makes the colour show up in con lighting.
- Do Nezuko's pink eyeshadow after your lenses go in, not before.
Care and prices
All our Demon Slayer contact lenses are 1 year wear when you clean and store them properly. Rub and rinse in fresh solution, keep them in a clean case, never use tap water and never sleep in them. Don't share them, even within a group cosplay. Every pair is £12.99, or any 2 for £22.99 or 3 for £31.99, so a Tanjiro and Nezuko duo works out cheaper.
