Naruto has some of the best eyes in anime, full stop. Half the fights are basically about eyes, so if you're cosplaying anyone from the Uchiha clan, the lenses aren't optional. We've built up a proper range over the years, and this is our quick guide to which Naruto contact lenses suit which character.

Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan lenses

Kakashi Hatake Sharingan Contact Lenses have the classic three tomoe Sharingan. Most Kakashi cosplayers wear one lens with the headband over the other eye, which is very true to the show. Sasuke Uchiha Red Contact Lenses are another classic Sharingan, and at 14mm they're one of our smaller, more natural sized designs.

Itachi Uchiha Mangekyō Sharingan Contact Lenses have Itachi's Mangekyō pattern, and Madara Uchiha Naruto Contact Lenses have Madara's Mangekyō. Please note the Madara lenses have no clear pupil hole, so your vision is blocked. They're for photos and posing, not driving, stairs or walking about at a busy con.

Rinne Sharingan Naruto Contact Lenses are a red ripple pattern with nine tomoe, for Madara or Kaguya in their later forms.

Rinnegan and Byakugan

Purple Rinnegan Naruto Contact Lenses have the violet ripple design for Pain, Nagato or Madara. They're 14.0mm, so they look a bit more natural in size. Sasuke Uchiha Purple Rinnegan Contact Lenses are made for post war Sasuke, and a lot of people wear one with a Sharingan in the other eye.

Hinata Hyuga Naruto Contact Lenses give the pale lilac white Byakugan. Very pale lenses like these can make things look a little hazy, so we'd treat them as a photo and posing lens too.

Lenses for the non Sharingan days

  • Naruto Uzumaki Contact Lenses are his bright blue eyes, and Minato Namikaze Naruto Contact Lenses are a blue for his dad.
  • Itachi Uchiha Naruto Contact Lenses and Obito Uchiha Naruto Contact Lenses are their dark everyday eyes, for when the Sharingan is off.

Our Naruto cosplay tips

Practise with your lenses a few days before a con, especially patterned ones, as you'll want to get them centred so the tomoe look right. Put them in before any face paint, whisker marks or Akatsuki nail varnish. Bold patterns can make your side vision feel a bit different, so take it easy on stairs. And if you're doing a mismatched look, store the two different lenses in a clearly labelled case so you don't mix them up.

Naruto Contact Lenses FAQs

Can you see through Sharingan contact lenses?
Most of ours, yes. Kakashi, Sasuke Red, Itachi Mangekyō and Rinne Sharingan have a clear centre so you can see. Madara Uchiha has no pupil hole, so your vision is blocked, which makes it a photo lens only. Bold patterns can make side vision feel a little different.
Which Naruto contacts are best for Kakashi cosplay?
Kakashi Hatake Sharingan Contact Lenses have the classic three tomoe design. Lots of people wear just one in the left eye under the headband look, and keep the other eye natural. Store the spare safely in its own clean case.
Do you sell Rinnegan contact lenses?
Yes, two. Purple Rinnegan Naruto Contact Lenses have the violet ripple pattern for Pain, Nagato or Madara, and Sasuke Uchiha Purple Rinnegan Contact Lenses are made for Sasuke. We also have Rinne Sharingan, the red ripple version with nine tomoe.
Do you have Byakugan contact lenses for Hinata or Neji?
Yes, Hinata Hyuga Naruto Contact Lenses give a pale lilac white Byakugan look, and they work for Neji and other Hyuga characters too. Very pale lenses can make vision look a bit hazy, so we'd keep them for photos and posing.
What colour are Naruto's eyes?
Naruto has bright blue eyes, which our Naruto Uzumaki Contact Lenses are made to match. Minato Namikaze Naruto Contact Lenses are blue too, so father and son group cosplays are easy.
Can I wear two different Naruto lenses at once?
Yes, lots of people do a Sharingan in one eye and Rinnegan in the other for Sasuke. Any 2 pairs are £22.99. Use a clearly marked case so you always know which lens is which, and never swap lenses with anyone else.
Are Sharingan contacts safe?
Ours are CE certified and non prescription, and they're safe when you look after them. Wash and dry your hands, use fresh solution every time, never use tap water and never sleep in them. If they sting or feel wrong, take them out straight away.
How do you get Sharingan lenses to sit straight?
Soft lenses settle on their own after a few blinks, so the tomoe usually line up fine. If the pattern looks off centre, look in the mirror, blink slowly a few times and gently massage your closed lid. Practise before the day.
How long do Naruto contact lenses last?
With proper care, our lenses last up to 12 months once opened. Rub and rinse after each wear and store them in fresh solution in a clean case. Don't reuse old solution and keep your case clean too.
