Azure Blue Contact Lenses

Azure Blue isn't trying to look natural, and we like it for that. It's a bright, bold blue that you'll notice from across the room, so it's more of a party lens than an everyday one.

At 14.5mm they give you a slightly bigger iris, which adds to the bright, wide-eyed look. The 40% water content is our standard comfy level. On light eyes the blue looks really punchy, and on darker eyes it still shows as a strong blue, especially in daylight or under flash. Indoors it settles a little, but it's never subtle.

We've used Azure Blue for nights out, festival weekends and a few cosplay characters with electric blue eyes. If you want blue contact lenses that read as a statement rather than a quiet change, this is the one.

• Silver or white eyeliner on the waterline makes the blue look even brighter.
