Lagoon Blue Contact Lenses

Lagoon Blue has more going on than most blues. There's a purple tint around the outer ring, a light aqua at the bottom, and a deeper blue across the top, so it looks a bit like sunlight hitting shallow water.

I love how it changes depending on where you are. Outside it looks bright and watery, almost turquoise in places. Indoors the darker top half takes over and it reads as a richer blue with that faint violet edge. At 14.5mm the iris looks a touch bigger, and the 42% water content gives them a lovely soft feel.

It's a fun one for holidays, summer parties or any mermaid or sea witch look. As blue contact lenses go, it's one of our more unusual ones, and the mix of shades means it doesn't look flat.

A few styling ideas

• Lilac or teal eyeshadow picks up the different tones in the lens.
• Looks lovely with a bit of shimmer on the inner corner.
• Clear pupil, so you see as normal.
• Wash and dry your hands first, and always take them out before you sleep.
