Tulip Blue Contact Lenses

Tulip Blue is the one we reach for when we want blue eyes that still look like ours. The colour sits somewhere between soft and dramatic, so people notice it, but it doesn't scream "lenses".

They're 14.2mm, which is close to the size of most real irises, so the blue blends in rather than giving you that big doll look. On light eyes the colour comes through clear and bright. On hazel or light brown eyes it softens into a gentler blue, and indoors it can look a little greyer than it does in daylight. That's normal with blue contacts and we quite like it.

These are non prescription blue contact lenses, £12.99 a pair, and they're 1 year lenses if you care for them properly.

Wearing them day to day

• Rub and rinse with fresh solution, then pop them in a clean case with new solution every time.
• A bit of brown liner and mascara makes the blue look brighter.
