Spider's Web Red Contact Lenses

Spider's Web Red is one of our creepier Halloween lenses. It's a white lens with a red spider web stretched across it, so from a distance your eyes look pale and blank, and up close you see the web pattern.

The red web gives it a slightly bloodshot, cursed feeling that works brilliantly with witch, zombie and spider queen costumes. At 14.5mm it's a bit bigger than a natural iris, so the white covers more of the eye and the pattern has room to show. It's opaque, so it works on brown eyes as well as light ones.

There's a clear pupil in the middle, so you can still see. The 40% water content means they're comfy for a night of parties or trick or treating.

Before you wear them

• Look: white with a red web, spooky from a distance and close up.
• Styling: grey face paint and black lips make white contact lenses look even scarier.
• Comfort: put them in before any face paint, with clean, dry hands.
• Care: rub and rinse in fresh solution and store in a clean case. Take them out if they sting.
