About Crack White Contact Lenses

Crack White is a white lens with fine cracked lines running through it, like shattered porcelain or a frozen-over eye. It's properly creepy in a quiet way, and it's one of my favourites for Halloween because it works with so many costumes.

Think zombie, broken doll, ghost, cursed bride, or a possessed character. The white makes the eye look blank and lifeless, then the cracks add detail when someone gets close. In dark rooms with UV or flash, they really jump out.

They're 14.5mm, a little bigger than a natural iris, which helps cover more of your own colour. 38% water is the standard comfy level.

Halloween tips

  • Make-up: grey and white face paint with cracked lines drawn on the skin ties the whole look together.
  • Vision: white lenses can make things look a bit different, so give yourself a few minutes to get used to them.
  • Timing: put them in after your face paint is dry, and with clean hands.
  • Care: rinse in fresh solution and keep them in a clean case so they're ready for next year too.

These white contact lenses are non-prescription and £12.99 a pair, with any 2 pairs for £22.99 or 3 for £31.99. Order by 2pm on a working day and they go out same day, which is handy when Halloween creeps up on you.
